Persephone was huddled in her bed, staring out at the Orphanage around her. She hadn't moved hardly since she had gotten here, just hiding in the corner, trying to watch all of the other orphans... well, as well as she could with just one. There was nothing of comfort here, not even a soft blanket or something. She knew all of the nurses were trying their best, but didn't care. She didn't want anything to do with this place. She wanted to go home, and didn't understand why she couldn't. Over the past few days, she had been coming to the quick realization that maybe her parents were gone, and although she didn't believe in a lot of magical things, she hoped and prayed for a miracle. But the back of mind was nagging her, telling her they wouldn't come back.
She didn't have anything to do. For the most part, no one had approached her- she didn't know if they were just scared or hadn't seen her- and she hadn't seen a lot of them. For the most part, everyone was older than her here. Even the Kittens from what she understood were older. Persephone wasn't exactly sure how she would react if anyone did approach her. Maybe she would talk quietly, maybe she would cry... god, she hoped she didn't do that. She hoped maybe there was someone nice here, but... even then, she might be scared.
